PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable whole screen to be excellently seen even when the size of the screen is enlarged in a display device which magnifies an image in a liquid crystal display panel by using a light guide body composed of a large number of optical fibers. SOLUTION: In the light guide body 7, incident face side end parts of a large number of optical fibers are densely aggregated, arrangement spacing of exiting face side end parts of a large number of optical fibers is made to be larger than arrangement spacing of the incident face side end parts, the exiting face side end parts of a large number of optical fibers are made to be in parallel to each other and further a whole exiting surface 14 is made to be a projected curved surface. A radius of curvature of the exiting surface 14 being the projected curved surface is made to have a value or an approximation with which all of proceeding directions of rays exited from the exiting surfaces of respective optical fibers constituting the light guide body 7 are directed toward an observation position. |
