PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide molded field magnets with various lengths without being equipped with various kinds of forming dies with different axial lengths. SOLUTION: The electric motor is equipped with a stator having a stator core where stator coil winding is wound, and a rotor having a cylindrical field magnets being provided in a rotor yoke. The field magnet is a molded magnet being bonded by sintering or a synthetic resin, and is an anisotropic magnet that is given a magnetic field orientation on forming. In this case, a plurality of field magnet pieces with the same radius are arranged in the axial direction of the rotor for forming the field magnet. |
