PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of input/output pins of a semicondoctor memory. SOLUTION: A multi-function pin is provided for performing both of input of an address bit and input/output of a data bit. It is decided by an address input enable-signal/ADe inputted from a independent pin and a data input/output enable-signal/DQe whether the multi-function pin is used for the address bit input or the data bit input/output. Any one register out of an address register 150, a data input register 160, and a data output register 170 is operated responding to the combination of a signal level of the address input enable-signal/ADe, the data input/output enable-signal/DQe and an input/output control signal/WE. |
