PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To trace the inside register storage information of an LSI processor or the like by adding a circuit without sharply increasing a chip area. SOLUTION: This device is provided with an RAM 10 and an RAM 9 connected with an inside address bus 6 and a data bus 5 inside an LSI chip for reading and storing address information and data information as necessary from the buses, an address generating means 11 for RAM access, and a control means 2 for controlling the reading and writing operations of the RAM or the operation of the address generating means. Then, the reading and storage of information from the address bus and data bus inside the LSI is operated in a fixed period, and when this processing is temporarily ended, the already stored information is read through the data buses inside the LSI to a data bus 8 outside the chip. |
