PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile equipment that changes a communication method for facsimile communication via the Internet depending on number of destinations of transmission, and to provide its communication method. SOLUTION: The facsimile equipment changes the communication method for facsimile communication via the Internet into a simple mode (S17) when number of destinations of transmission is a plurality (transmission of a mailing list) in the case of the facsimile communication via the Internet, and the facsimile equipment changes the communication method for facsimile communication via the Internet into a full mode (S 120) when number of destinations of transmission is one.
