PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve fastening performance of a cylinder head between adjacent combustion chamber holes in a metal gasket for arranging seal beads around the combution chamber holes. SOLUTION: In a metal gasket 1 having plural combution chamber holes 3 corresponding to a combustion chamber of a cylinder block and arranging seal beads 5 for enhancing bearing around the combution chamber holes, slits 6 for reducing rigidity of the seal beads 5 are arranged outside the seal beads 5 around the combution chamber holes except for the mutual adjacent combution chamber holes 3, 3 to enhance fastening performance between the adjacent combution chamber holes.
