PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for supporting a software debug for reducing the possibility of the increase of debug man-hours due to erroneous debug support. SOLUTION: At the execution of a program to be debugged constituted of an executable file X1 and a dynamic connection module group F, a core image file C1 including a link map M being the list of the dynamic module group F with which the program to be debugged is connected is generated by a core image file capturing means (A) 101, and a corrected executable file X2 is generated from the core image file C1 by an executable file correcting means B102 including a link map check means G for checking the presence or absence of the illegality of the link map M, and the corrected executable file X2 and the corrected core image file C3 are transferred to a debug means 201.
