PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color converter that reduces a periodic noise in color components so as to enhance the quality of an output image. SOLUTION: Relating to an error diffusion color converter 1 of having an error applying section 11 that corrects the color of each pixel of a received image G1 depending on error data, an output color selection section 12 that converts colors corrected by the error applying section 11 into one color selected among a plurality of reproducible colors according to set rules, and an error calculation section 13 that generates data D13 used to spread the color error in the conversion of the output color selection section 12 into surrounding pixels of a target pixel and provides the data D13 to the error applying section 11 as the error data, it is provided with a noise superimposing section 14 that superimposes a noise onto the received image G1. |
