PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress rapid dispersion of water vapor from active materials exposed on the sides of a laminate layer and to obtain good aging reactions when aging an electrode plate in a laminate manner, wherein the electrode plate is thicker than peripheral thickness of a lattice such as an electrode plate using a thin cast lattice of a storage battery for example a lead battery, an expand lattice, or a punched lattice. SOLUTION: A dry suppressor is installed next to the sides of a laminate layer of electrode plates and aged, wherein the electrode plates are laminated in a block manner. Preferably, the dry suppressor body possesses water retention characteristic. |
