PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of reducing the variation of a light quantity without improving precision of correction data. SOLUTION: This image forming device 10 is provided with a timing generator 66, which outputs a line number to an adding and rounding circuit 68. A ROM 70 stores the optimal value of the light quantity correction data of each LED of an LED chip 60. The circuit 68 generates such plural correction data as to match with the optimal value of the light quantity correction data in the case of averaging from precise light quantity correction data stored in the ROM 70 and the value of the low-order 2 bits of a line number. An LED driver 62 corrects the light quantity of each LED by switching the plural generated correction data. Thus, the whole light quantity can be corrected precisely. |
