<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of designing semiconductor integrated circuit device by which clock skew adjustment can be performed easily, without having to rely upon the circuit scale or the chip size of a semiconductor integrated circuit device and a clock skew adjusting method by which high-speed processing can be realized by using an automatic tool. SOLUTION: This method of designing semiconductor integrated circuit device includes a reference buffer position deciding step of deciding a reference buffer connected to a signal generating source with the buffer becoming the source point of the source, a discriminating step of plotting concentric circles having the diameter corresponding to the driving value of the reference buffer and discriminating whether final-stage elements which are driven by signals from the signal generating source exist in the concentric circles, and a delay adjusting buffer position deciding step of arranging delay adjusting buffers at points on the concentric circles, when no final-stage element exists in the circles. The method also includes a connection step of connecting the delay-adjusting buffers from the reference buffer in a tree-like state.</p> |
