PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a module for wavelength multiplexing and two-way optical communication which is capable of communication of high quality, and is manufactured at a low cost. SOLUTION: A light-shielding filter 1 has light-shielding function, which prevents incidence of light having a wavelengthλ2 to a photodetector 3 and incidence of stray light having a wavelengthλ1 to a part other than a light detection part 9 of the photodetector 3, and this filter 1 is adhered to the end of a waveguide, so that the light incidence face of the filter 1 is relatively oblique to the emitting direction of guide light, in order to prevent the return of reflected light to a transmission line.
