PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication method by which a conversation through reception of a portable telephone or a mobile telephone can more safely be started and continued while an automobile is driven. SOLUTION: An on-vehicle audio unit is connected to a mobile telephone or a portable telephone by a cord to configure one system. This system is characterized in that an external wireless signal is sounded from a speaker of the audio unit by taking precedence over all others (radio broadcast and playing of CD or cassette tape).
