PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing roll with an excellent durability by preventing toner from being adhered onto the surface of the fixing roll to stably suppress the occurrence of an offset for a long term. SOLUTION: Spherical particles are filled in the material of a surface material 103b arranged in the outer periphery of a fixing roll 101, a proper number of slightly projected parts which are in prescribed size in proper distribution are formed on the surface layer material 103b, the contact area of the toner T with the material 103b is made to be small, the adhesion of the toner T onto the front surface of the material 103b is suppressed and, then, the offset is prevented.
