PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electrically conductive coating fluid for a silver halide photographic sensitive material excellent in stability and a substrate for a silver halide photographic sensitive material excellent in transparency and electric conductivity. SOLUTION: The electrically conductive coating fluid has crystalline metal oxide particles, a binder and a solvent which dissolves the binder. The viscosity of a solution of the binder dissolved in the solvent is 30-1,000 cP at 10% solid concentration.
