PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a collapse-detecting system which can see the state at a site of the collapse while staying in a monitor room and prevent a secondary disaster caused by visiting the collapse site. SOLUTION: The collapse-detecting system includes a light reflector set at one or more observation points, a laser level gauge for emitting light to ward the light reflector, receiving light reflected by the light reflector and measuring the distance to the light reflector, a collapse-judging means for comparing a measured value of the laser level gauge with a predetermined reference value and judging that collapse takes place or not at the observation point when a difference between the measured value and the reference value exceeds a preset value, an image camera for pocking up site images of the observation points, a communication means for transmitting via a network data of measured values of the laser level gauge and picked images of the image camera, and a display means for displaying the transmitted data of the measured values and picked images onto the same screen.
