SOLUTION: In a positive electrode 2 for an alkaline secondary battery which contains nickel hydroxide powder and cobalt monoxide powder, the cobalt monoxide powder has a granular diameter (D 50) of 1 to 7 μm in 50% of volume built-up frequency and has a granular distribution such that granular existence ratio of not less than 10 μm is not more than 30 vol.%. |
