ELECTRODE FOR SOLID HIGH MOLECULAR FUEL CELL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid high molecular fuel cell which can decrease deterioration in output properties over aging by imparting durable water repellency to an electrode. SOLUTION: An electrode containing a reaction product obtained by a reaction of a silane compound in which a isocyanate radical or a hydrolytic radical and fluorine containing organic radical are attached to the silicon atom in the presence of water and also containing catalyst powders and an ion exchange resin is used. Especially an electrode in which the catalyst powders are surface- treaded with the silane compound is used.
