摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems in a usual method for applying sealant from he outside in a high molecular electrolyte fuel cell such that the number of assembly steps of a stacked cells must be greatly increased because a sealant should be applied to a specific portion with maintaining a fuel gas route and a cooling water route supplied to the stacked cell and an inlet of the gas route must be masked. SOLUTION: After a solid material whose melting point is not higher than 120 degrees centigrade has been buried in an injection opening and an exhaust opening of a gas route formed in a conductive separator, a sealing agent is applied to a side area of a high molecular electrolyte fuel cell, thereafter the solid material is heated up to 120 degrees centigrade for removing the solid material buried in the injection opening and the exhaust opening of the gas route.
