PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image carrier body with high precision, with which a sure and stable contact state with an abutment member is obtained and which is surely driven with excellent durability and handleability. SOLUTION: A thin and cylindrical image carrier having a flexibility is supported by a pair of disk shape members which are attached to a shaft 110 which is not rotated itself so as to be rotatable. A backup drum 150 which is attached to the shaft 110 at the inner side and supports the image carrier from the inner side at an abutment position where the abutment member is abutted on the image carrier from an outer part is arranged so as to be rotatable with respect to the shaft 110. The shaft 110 is provided with support parts 115 for the disk shape members, which are formed at both end parts of the shaft 110, and an eccentric part 116 being eccentric away from the support parts, which is formed at a center part. The backup drum 150 is supported by the eccentric part 116 so as to be rotatable. |
