PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform ceiling heating by miniaturizing a heater unit, reducing the weight thereof and simplifying installation. SOLUTION: This ceiling heater unit comprises a light weight face type radiator 1 installed in the vicinity of a ceiling 5 by way of ceiling mounting means 4 constituted of ceiling illumination mounting means 2, power source branching means 3 and the like, wherein as a heater 6 provided in the face type radiator 1 employs a heat-sensitive heater 6a capable of being connected with a temperature control circuit and the like, detecting abnormal heating over the entire length of the radiator 1 and controlling the temperature thereof is employed, and integrally includes the power source branching means 3 is integrated with the radiator 1, and a controller 7 for control of safety and temperature is incorporated therein in response to a signal from the heat- sensitive heater 6a.
