SOLUTION: The air conditioner having a plurality of outdoor units 1a, 1b, and a plurality of indoor units 3a, 3b connected by refrigerant piping 5, 6 of the same series comprises a control means for recovering a refrigerant staying in another outdoor unit 1b of one and another outdoor units 1a, 1b to the one unit 1a by operating the another unit 1b during stopping, when the operating unit 1a causes a refrigerant deficiency in the operating unit 1a and stopping unit 1b. |
