摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-carrier transmission system consisting of a plurality of transmission systems and one reception system or more that can obtain a required size of transmission rate while keeping power per bandwidth small. SOLUTION: The multi-carrier transmission reception system is provided with an N-point IFFT means 11 that converts a signal applied to a frequency sequence into orthogonal time sequence signals, a means 12 that applies orthogonal modulation to a symbol signal sequence being the N-point time sequence signals, a digital/analog conversion means 13 that converts a digital time sequence signal into an analog signal, and a frequency conversion means 14 that converts the analog time sequence signal into a transmission band frequency. In the case of assigning the information signal to the IFFT means, a signal is intermittently applied onto the frequency sequence at M points at a prescribed interval, the information signal is used for one channel, the signal intermittently applied at a prescribed interval at M points similarly to a idle band is used for other channel and then the transmission of M channels is attained.
