PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extract a specific sound component such as a resonance sound component. SOLUTION: 1st musical sound waveform data containing a resonance sound component and 2nd musical sound waveform data not containing the component are Fourier-transformed for a short time, respectively, and both data are separated into deterministic waveforms and residual waveforms, respectively. A subtraction is performed between the deterministic components by properly arranging the waveform containing the resonance sound component in phase with the waveform not containing the resonance sound component, and a subtraction is performed between the residual components by dividing both residual component waveforms into frequency bands through a group of band-pass filters and using differences between respective envelopes. A waveform of only resonance sound component is generated by summing up both of the subtraction results. |
