PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for automatically preparing a desirable trimming picture by considering the size of a trimming frame and the size of a merchandise part in an original picture at need without any judgment and manual input by an operator when the size of the trimming frame is given to a merchandise photographing picture being the original picture. SOLUTION: This trimming picture preparing device is provided with a picture background color automatic deciding means, a binarizing means, a binary picture vector making means, an unnecessary vector removing means, a plural-vector circumscribed rectangular calculation means, a trimming frame positioning means for deciding the position of the trimming frame so that the center of the trimming frame may match with that of the circumscribed rectangular and a picture segmenting means for segmenting the picture along the positioned trimming frame. This device automatically decides the circumscribed rectangle of the objective part of the original picture to automatically prepare the trimming picture where objective merchandise is arranged in a center. |
