PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent luminance correction coefficient calculating technique for luminance unevenness correction of a digital optical printer. SOLUTION: This digital printer has a test print forming section 87 which forms a test print sheet having test exposure dots, a density value measuring unit 90 which measures the density value of these test exposure dots, a correction basic value calculating section 85a which executes the processing to determine a first correction basic value by dividing a reference density value by a measured density value and to determine the second correction basic value more approximate to a 1 than the first correction basic value from the first correction basic value in the state that the second correction basic value is nearer 1 as the first correction basic value is nearer 1 and the difference between the first correction basic value and the second correction basic value is greater as the first correction basic value parts increasingly from 1 and a luminance correction coefficient rewriting section 8 which rewrites the luminance correction coefficient by multiplying the luminance correction coefficient of a correction table 86 by the second correction basic value.
