PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pinion capable of absorbing excessive torque of a motor and a vehicular air conditioner using this pinion. SOLUTION: This pinion is composed of a tubular gear part 62 for forming a gear groove on the outer periphery, a shaft part 63 arranged in the gear part 62 and fitted with a rotary shaft and an elastic body 64 being arranged in the gear part 62 and transmitting rotation of the rotary shaft to the gear part 62. Excessive torque of the motor is absorbed by a twist of the elastic body 64.
