An exercising stand is disclosed herein having a pair of tubular side members pivotally joined together at one end so as to be pivoted between a first position for storage purposes and a second position for exercising purposes. Retainers are carried on the side members for slidably receiving an inverted U-shaped member constituting a back support extending between the side members when in their second position. Hand grips are carried on each of the side members adjacent the end opposite to the pivotally connected ends. A shoulder cushion is carried on each of the side members disposed between the back support and the hand grip.
