The fitting (34) connects a plastic-metal bonded tube (10) to an outer flange (22) on the connecting end. The flange is produced by folding the tube wall (20). The plastic internal layer (12) is free in the sealing region (32) and the connecting end (18). The sealing region can be sealed to the sealing surface (42) of a fitting body (36) by tightening a clamping element (52).
