The light unit has an aperture frame with reflector chambers in two stacked planes with the chamber for the flasher light beneath the chambers for dipped and main beams and/or for signaling lights, a cover panel and an arrangement for ventilating the inner volume. The aperture frame is fixed to the housing and cover panel at its upper edge. A flasher glass supports the reflector chamber walls, stabilizes the aperture frame and forms a vent hole. The light unit has an aperture frame (2) with several reflector chambers (3, RK) in a housing. The reflector chambers are formed into two stacked planes and the chamber for the flasher light is beneath the chambers for dipped and main beams and/or for signaling lights. There is a cover panel (4) and an arrangement (14-16) for ventilating the inner volume. The aperture frame is fixed to the housing and cover panel at its upper edge. A flasher glass (5) attached to the part of the aperture frame forming the reflector chamber for the flasher light supports the horizontal area of the reflector chamber walls (6,13) with respect to the housing floor or a lower horizontal region of the cover panel, stabilizes the aperture frame and forms a vent hole (14).
