The invention concerns an electrodialyser end box, comprising a vertical electrode (7) and a membrane (10) selectively permeable to ions, arranged vertically, opposite the electrode and separated therefrom by a vertical passage (19). The invention also concerns an electrodialyser comprising alternating vertical membranes (1, 2, 3), selectively permeable to ions and separating members (4), between two end boxes (5), whereof at least one is in conformity with the inventive end box.
