The profiled strip has a fastening section (2) of U-shaped cross-section with at least one contact bearing face (6) at the side which is pressed against the support flange (10) onto which it is to be fixed by at least an opposing resilient pressure part. The contact bearing face can be on a first arm of the fastening part whilst at least two spaced holding projections (8) can protrude from the second arm and are long enough to adjoin by their free end against the support flange with sufficient friction connection.
