The terminal (1) has a current rail (3) in a terminal housing (2) and a blade terminal contact (4) electrically connected to it, between whose opposing blade edges a conductor (11) can be electrically contacted after being fed in via a housing passage (10). The blade terminal contact is movably mounted on the current rail, whereby blade contacting of the fixed conductor is effected by translational movement of the contact along the current rail in its longitudinal direction. An Independent claim is also included for a connector arrangement.
