Runners (10) with an S-shaped cross section are secured to the inside surfaces of the drawer furniture item frame side walls to create two tracks (13,15) extending along the length of the runners for first and second sets of small wheels (14,16) secured to the drawer and frame respectively. A mechanism for lifting both sets of wheels is also provided.The tracks share a common central area (19) in the form of a partition wall between the two tracks that extends in a horizontal direction when the drawers are pushed into the frame. This area is created by dual bending of the two tracks towards each other about parallel bend lines (20), forming two elongated walls on opposite sides of the central area (22), between which either set of wheels can be inserted |
