The automatically-closing swing door comprises a column partly enclosed by a rotarily mounted swivel pipe to which a door-leaf is connected. The space between the column and the swivel piece contains a restoring appliance (23) which returns the swivel pipe into its initial position. The restoring appliance comprises two cooperating restoring elements (21,22) in the form of a slide piece with a V-shaped connecting link (16) into which fits a sliding block. One of the restoring elements is axially movable and is pre-tensioned by a spring element.
