The invented composition consists of (A) a mixture of monomers containing (a1) 50 to 90 parts by weight of dicyclopentenyloxyalkyl esters of the general formula I, in which the substituents have specific meanings, (a2) 0 to 25 parts by weight of (meth)acrylate with vitrification temperature higher than that of the ester indicated under (a1), (a3) 0 to 25 parts by weight of (meth)acrylate with vitrification temperature lower than that of the ester indicated under (a1), (a4) 0 to 25 parts by weight of a monomer with at least two (meth)acrylate double bonds, (B) 5 to 30 parts by weight of polyallyl glycidyl ether and (C) an initiator being represented by (c1) an organic peroxide, being optionally present in a mixture with a salt of a polyvalent metal, or (c2) an organic hydroperoxide, or a mixture thereof. Mortar or concrete contains 10 to 25 parts by weight of the composition as a binding agent and 75 to 90 parts by weight of a filling agent. Primer contains the composition or mortar or concrete. The topsheet for concretes and porous materials contains the composition, optionally in a mixture with a pigment. The floor covering intended for concrete floors consists of a primer layer, a second layer being represented by concrete and a third layer being represented by the topsheet.
