High speed press - with pneumatic working and mechanical return stroke

The press comprises a compressed air operated ram which is connected via a damping cylinder and a bar to the connecting rod of a crank drive for the return stroke. The stroke of the piston in the cylinder is larger than the stroke of the compressed air operated ram. The press may consists of two opposed units and may be employed for briquetting of bulk material in a split die which is opened by the cranking mechanism. It has a fast working stroke and cycle.
