PURPOSE: The method for creating a boot restarting message of a processor is provided to recognize the state of the restarting exactly by changing the value of a bit pattern when booting after the power-off. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the following steps. The CPU reads the bit pattern stored in the specified area of a memory in order to determine the power restarting(16). If yes, the CPU operates the restarting mode(18). If no, the CPU stores the predetermined bit pattern in the specified area(20). The CPU tests if the power is off(24). If no, the process returns to the first and performs repeatedly. f yes, the power-off signal generator creates the power-off interrupt signal(PINT) when the power voltage(Vcc) is fell down under the predetermined value. The CPU forcibly stores to change the value of the bit pattern(26). So, a user can perceive that the system is restarted after the power-off.
