PURPOSE: A human cervical cancer 1(HCCR-1) gene and a protein coded thereby are provided for the prevention and treatment of various cancers. CONSTITUTION: The human cervical cancer 1(HCCR-1) gene as a protooncogene has the base sequence of sequence No. 1 consisting of 2118 bps, in which the base sequence from 9 to 1088 is an open reading frame which encodes a HCCR-1 protein having the amino acid sequence of sequence No. 2 consisting of 360 amino acids, wherein the amino acid sequence from 1 to 25 encodes signaling peptide, and the amino acid sequence from 435 to 494 encodes single transmembrane domain. A microorganism JM109/HCCR-1(KCTC 0667BP) is produced by the transformation of a HCCR-1 containing vector. The microorganism JM109/HCCR-1(KCTC 0667BP) produces the HCCR-1 protein. A HCCR-1 diagnosing kit article manufactured by using the HCCR-1 is used for diagnosing the infection of HCCR-1 and treating the human cervical cancer.
