PUMP WITH SEPARABLE PACKING BOX

摘要

PURPOSE: A pump with separable packing box is provided to allow the packing member replacement work to be performed in an easy and convenient manner by performing the replacement work at the state where the packing box and the packing press are completely separated from each other. CONSTITUTION: A packing box(20) is arranged to be attachable/detachable to/from an upper casing(13) and a lower casing(14) of a pump(11), via a fixing member(15) such as a wrench bolt. A packing press(16) to be coupled to the outer surface of the packing box is formed into a circle, and a packing member(17) mounted within the packing box is controlled by a fixing member(15') such as a bolt. To replace the packing member, the packing box is detached from pump casings(13,14), the old packing member is replaced with the new one, and the packing box is coupled to pump casings.
