PURPOSE: A thermal expansion monitoring device for a boiler is provided to continuously and entirely monitor the three-dimensional thermal expansion and deformation state of a boiler, thereby maintaining the boiler in an optimum state and improving the combustion efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A thermal expansion monitoring device for a boiler includes a displacement measuring unit(10) having a plurality of displacement sensors(11-22) distributed on several positions of a boiler for detecting thermal expansion states and deformation states of the boiler three-dimensionally, an analogue/digital converter(24) connected to the displacement measuring unit for receiving analogue signals output from the sensors and representing the displacement values to convert the analogue signals to digital signals, and an output unit(30) connected to the analogue/digital converter via a transmission line for displaying the deformation state of the boiler three-dimensionally according to the digital signals output from the analogue/digital converter, wherein a three-dimensional graphic for a non-deformed normal state of the boiler is input in the output unit.
