PURPOSE: A refrigerator is provided to reduce installation cost, prevent electric leakage and achieve a stable refrigeration cycle by allowing the machinery chamber to be disposed in the lower portion of the refrigerator and maintaining chambers of the cabinet at a constant temperature. CONSTITUTION: A refrigerator(100) comprises a cabinet(20) having a plurality of chambers(10,11); a machinery chamber(50) mounted with a compressor(30) and a condenser(40) and which disposed in the lower portion of the cabinet; a refrigerant circulation pipe for an evaporator(60) mounted at the inner walls of chambers of the cabinet, respectively; cooling air chambers(70) arranged at the rear surface of the cabinet to correspond to each chamber of the cabinet and which has an outlet hole(21a) and an inlet hole(21b) communicated to chambers of the cabinet; and a cooling air circulation fan(80) mounted in each cooling air chamber so as to circulate air through chambers of the cabinet. Cooling air chambers are protruded from the rear surface of the cabinet, and a cooling air flow passage(90) for guiding the air from the machinery chamber to be discharged outward.
