SEWAGE TREATMENT APPARATUS

PURPOSE: A new type of sewage treatment apparatus is provided which has low installation cost and superior treatment efficiency without electric power by filtering sewage using capillary and siphon phenomena without requiring a separate power. CONSTITUTION: The sewage treatment apparatus comprises a sewage tank (2) maintaining a certain level of water by putting the sewage to be treated; a capillary filter (5) one end part of which is immersed into the sewage and other end part of which is positioned at the lower part of the water level of the sewage with being extended to the outside of the sewage tank (2); and a purified water receiver (3) and a purified water outlet pipe (4) discharging the purified water from the other end part of the capillary filter (5).
