PURPOSE: A remote monitoring system is provided to monitor in remote place by a CCTV camera in a remote place in wire and wireless methods. CONSTITUTION: The remote monitoring system include a transmitter and receiver. The transmitter includes a CCTV camera, a rotating member, an analog/digital converter(31), the first storage section(33), the first modulator/demodulator, a telephone line connecting line(42). Rotating member rotatably supports CCTV camera up and down. The analog/digital converter(31) converts an image signal of CCTV camera into a binary signal. The first storage section(33) stores the binary image signal. The first modulator/demodulator modulates and demodulates the image signal and a command data. Telephone line connecting line(42) connects the first modulator/demodulator to a telephone line. The receiver includes a telephone receiver, the second modulator/demodulator, a digital/analog converter, and a display device. Telephone receiver is connected to the transmitter by a set telephone number, the second modulator/demodulator modulates and demodulates the image signal and command data modulated and demodulated by the first modulator/demodulator. Digital/analog converter converts the image signal and a command data into an original image signal. Display device displays an output signal of digital/analog converter as a character or picture.
