PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air belt device with a seat belt wound up excellently and wearable with a good feeling. SOLUTION: In winding a seat belt, a controller 80 drives a motor 22a with comparatively low torque for winding a seat belt 19 while webbing 18 passes through a shoulder anchor 20. Then, the controller 80 drives the motor 22a with high torque so as to prepare for increase in winding resistance in passage of the air belt 12 through the shoulder anchor 20 if it is detected that a seam between the webbing 18 and the air belt 12 approaches the shoulder anchor 20. When an occupant pulls out a seat belt 19 and sets a tongue 14 into a buckle device 16 within a predetermined time, the motor 22a is driven with low torque for winding the seat belt 19 by a predetermined length, so that excessive slack of the seat belt 19 is eliminated. |
