PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation structure of a hanging rod for indoor space installation position of which can arbitrarily hanging tool and be changed and which allows good use of the indoor space and carries considerably heavy articles even when it is required to mount an article wider than a specified width or it is required to mount an article to be housed or installed whose occupying space is different from an expected space. SOLUTION: Brackets 5 for supporting a bar are hooked on a board 3 for hooking the brackets arbitrarily installed opposite to each other at an arbitrary height of perpendicular stems 1 fixedly erected along a vertical wall face in a rectangular parallelepiped space such as a storage apace like a closet or a wardrobe or independently erected in the indoor space. A hanging bar body 6 is detachably and slidably fitted to the brackets 5 for supporting the bar.
