PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular air-conditioner capable of exercising heating ability or defrosting ability even during warming up of an engine in the depth of winter. SOLUTION: This vehicular air-conditioner features using generated output of a compressor driving generator for improving the heating ability or the defrosting ability when the heating ability during winter season is insufficient. For a measure to improve the heating ability or the defrosting ability, one is selected from the next three types of measures. One, an electric heater is provided on the inlet side of cooling water of a heat exchanger (heater core) for heating the cooling water. Two, an electric heater is provided on the outlet side of heating air of the heat exchanger (heater core) for heating the heating air. Three, electric heaters are provided on the inlet side of the cooling water of the heat exchanger (heater core) and the outlet side of the heating air of the heat exchanger (heater core) for heating the cooling water and the heating air. An electric heater with a radiation fin or a PTC heater is used as the electric heater.
