PURPOSE: To obtain a switching control method and switching circuit, and electronic component for switching and electronic component for switching control which can reduce power loss. CONSTITUTION: An FET 11, which has a fast-switching speed and an FET 12 which has small on-resistance are used by more than two, the active terminals (drain, source) of those FETs 11 and 12 are connected in parallel, and these FETs 11 and 12 are used in combination for switching between the conduction state and nonconduction state of a conduction path. A control circuit 13, when switching the nonconduction state to the conduction state causes on the FET 11, which has the fast switching speed first to turn on and then causes the 2nd FET 12 to turn on in the timing to the saturation of the FET 11. Similarly, when the conduction state is switched to the nonconduction state, the FET 12 is turned off and then the FET 11 is turned off near the saturation voltage of the FET 11.
