PURPOSE: A composition containing microencapsulated flavor and capable of easily and sufficiently softening clothing made of various kinds of synthetic fibers in washing is provided, which gives off a fragrance in laundry for a long period of time and enables a user who is wearing clothes treated with the composition to feel agreeable. CONSTITUTION: This microencapsulated flavor-containing composition contains 0.5 to 5 parts by weight of powdery microencapsulated flavor based on the total weight of the composition and one or two or more additives selected from the group consisting of a microencapsulated antibiotics, a microencapsulated antifungal agent, a microencapsulated antiviral agent, a perspiration inhibitor and a microencapsulated deodorant.
