PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a non-oriented silicon steel sheet having magnetic properties more excellent than those of the conventional non- oriented silicon steel sheet. SOLUTION: In this method for producing a non-oriented silicon steel sheet excellent in magnetic properties, at the time of producing a non-oriented silicon steel sheet in such a manner that a silicon steel slab containing, by weight, <=0.005% C, $0.2% P, 1.5 to 5% Si, and the balance substantially Fe, and in which the content of S is limited to <=0.0009% (inclusive of zero), Al to <=0.004% (inclusive of zero) and N to <=0.005% (inclusive of zero) is hot-rolled, is moreover cold-rolled and is subjected to finish annealing, the sheet thickness after the cold rolling is controlled to 0.05 to 0.35 mm, and the finish annealing is executed at 1,050 to 1,250 deg.C for 1 to 60 min in a vacuum atmosphere of <=10-3 torr. |
